English II Honors – Week 6

Happy Friday, Roadrunners! We made it through our first (and only) week of hybrid learning. Next week begins our full time in person learning or our continuation of home-based instruction. Make sure you finalize your choice by the end of today; choose what is best for your family. I am eager to see all your smiling faces next week.

We began the week by revisiting classroom rules and procedures; these are a bit different than what it expected online. We began the week by doing some pre-reading and research prior to beginning our unit on Animal Farm. By the end of today, we will have read and discussed the first two chapters. This is going to be a quick unit, but one that I am sure they will never forget.

Quick reminder: There is no school on Monday due to it being my birthday…ha, not really. It’s Labor Day. There will be a sub on Tuesday since I am going out of town this weekend. Please make sure your kiddos are well behaved and do what is asked of them.
