English AP/DE> Week 4: Aug. 17 – Aug. 21

Happy Monday, Roadrunners.

Let me first apologize for my tardiness on sending this out; it has been a busy couple of weeks.

Last week was a busy week. We put our newfound rhetorical skills to good use and read a short piece of nonfiction and then were tasked with analyzing the rhetoric. Students were then asked to begin writing their own piece on education using their tools of rhetoric. They seemed to have fun with this exercise and are enjoying the break between reading and writing.

Please remind students to reach out if they have any questions and to not wait until it’s past a due date to do so. I am here to help them and want each and every one of them to be successful.

We have MAP testing this week on Thursday and Friday, so please make sure your student is well rested, eaten a great breakfast, and is in a place where they can focus with limited distractions.
