English IV: January 27-31

Good Afternoon.

What a busy week last week. Many of our students attended the GCU presentation, then later the Holocaust presentation, and finished out with the STEM Fest/Science Fair on Saturday. We managed to get a lot of work done still.

We are nearly done with Macbeth and the tension is rising. Many of the scenes we are reading have been translated into film and we have been fortunate enough to watch different interpretations. This has  inspired many discussions and questions on how people interpret words and writing differently. We will finish this week and begin reviewing for our final. It has been fun to see them make connections between this play and modern society. There are a lot of similarities still. Lots of great conversations as well.
