Mar. 2-6 (English IV)

Good Afternoon, Roadrunners.

Time is just flying by and with last week’s visit to the Renaissance Fair it went by even faster. The Renaissance Fair was a blast though and I am so happy I was able to go with them. It was a beautiful day too!

After analyzing “A Modest Proposal” and looking at all the rhetoric involved, students are now tasked with writing their own modern modest proposal. Some are embracing this challenge and others are a bit more hesitant. It is big task, but they are all capable of doing great things. They are working on it all week and then we will revisit it after Spring Break. I want them to do their absolute best on this assignment.

Quarter 3 grades were posted yesterday and this week’s work will count towards Quarter 4. The conference sign up sheet is out and I have still spots open. If you would like to meet with me or any other teachers, don’t forget to sign up.

Quick reminder that Spring Break is a week and a half, so we will return to school on March 19th. I hope you all have an amazing break and are able to enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather.

Have a great day. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
