Week 3: April 14 – April 17

In AP English Literature, English III, English IV

Happy Thursday Roadrunners.

I hope you have all settled into a nice routine and getting the hang of things. Remember that all of your teachers are here for you and want you to be successful, so reach out as soon as a question arises. I have been scheduling a Google Meet for everyday at 10am and 2pm, but sadly only a few people show up. So, starting tomorrow (April 17th) I will have one pre-scheduled Meet a day. If this time does not work for you, or you would just like one-on-one time with me, then shoot me an email and I will happily schedule something with you.

This week I challenged you all with a bit of a longer read, but I know you are all capable of doing it. If you find yourself struggling to understand the reading though, please let me know. I have been thinking of having a reading session with students where I can read the passage and answer questions as we move along. If this sounds like something you might be interested in please let me know.

I want to remind everyone that I still expect you to work at your full potential. So if I see a score come in that is not what I know you are capable of, I might ask you to re-do the assignment for credit. It is not because I am mean and want to punish you; it is to remind you that you are smart and your teachers want you to continue to push yourself. That is all I have for you right now, but if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Also, don’t forget to check out this week’s video below. 😉
