March 2-6 (English III)

Good Afternoon, Roadrunners.

Time is just flying by and with last week’s visit to the Renaissance Fair it went by even faster. The Renaissance Fair was a blast though and I am so happy I was able to go with them. It was a beautiful day too!

Last week we focused on reading and understanding the first few chapters of The Great Gatsby in preparation for our writing assignment this week. We are honing our writing skills this week and making connections between the text and today’s society.

Quarter 3 grades were posted yesterday and this week’s work will count towards Quarter 4. The conference sign up sheet is out and I have still spots open. If you would like to meet with me or any other teachers, don’t forget to sign up.

Quick reminder that Spring Break is a week and a half, so we will return to school on March 19th. I hope you all have an amazing break and are able to enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather.
