English III > Week 13

Happy Friday!

This was a highly productive week in class. Students are nearing the final stages of their Annotated Bibliographies for the Cultural Fair. They should all have a minimum of five sources. Three of them must have a complete MLA citation, a summary, an evaluation of each source and a short reflection. This week was the last week where ample class time was provided for them to work on this. We will touch base next week, but the remaining two sources will need to be completed on their own time. This assignment is worth 100 points, so please check in with your student to make sure they are on top of everything.

Towards the end of this week we began our next unit on The Crucible. We revisited the Puritan time period and faith in preparation for what is to come next week. This is an interesting play and I truly hope the students appreciate it.
