Week 5: April 27 – May 1

 In AP English Literature

Happy Monday and Welcome to Week 5!

It is hard to believe that an entire month has passed of us doing home based instruction. Now, with the weather so hot, it seems like it should be summer. It certainly feels like everything is a bit off. Nonetheless, I hope you all had a great week. Here is to a great week though!

I am super impressed with how well you are all doing on this poetry refresher. This week, I am giving you all a little break and having you read something a little less intense. I hope you find it engaging and a nice reprieve from poetry. Keep checking in for current YouTube AP videos. Based on your discussion last week it sounds like it was useful for many of you. For additional resources, please check out the AP updates page.

Parents/Guardians: all instructions are detailed on Google Classroom for your student to fully understand what is being asked. These instructions have also been provided virtually and with a computer walk-through. There are so many tools at your student’s disposal, and they have complete access to me, so there is no reason (school reason that is) why they should not be able to finish their work.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out. I know you are overwhelmed with emails and life is hectic, but I still want your student’s to succeed and more than ever I want them to be ready for next year.

Let me know if you need anything.

Best, Ms. Kovach
