English AP/DE > Week 13

Happy Friday!

This was a highly productive week in class. Students are nearing the final stages of their Annotated Bibliographies for the Cultural Fair. They should all have a minimum of five sources. Three of them must have a complete MLA citation, a summary, an evaluation of each source and a short reflection. This week was the last week where ample class time was provided for them to work on this. We will touch base next week, but the remaining two sources will need to be completed on their own time. This assignment is worth 100 points, so please check in with your student to make sure they are on top of everything.

We returned to our unit on rhetorical analysis and will be reading and discussing several influential pieces next week. I am eager to get back into the swing of things. That is all I have for now.
