English III- Week 6
Happy Friday, Roadrunners! We made it through our first (and only) week of hybrid learning. Next week begins our full time in person learning or our continuation of home-based instruction. Make sure you finalize your choice by the end of today; choose what is best for your family. I am eager to see all your smiling faces next week.
We began the week by revisiting classroom rules and procedures; these are a bit different than what it expected online. We have read a great deal this week and I am enjoying our conversations. We read a rather intense sermon from Puritan minister Jonathan Edwards, discussed fear as a motivator and finished by discussing what makes a successful person. That’s a lot! We came out relatively unscathed. I’m eager to finish up our discussion on success next week via Benjamin Franklin’s autobiography.
Quick reminder: There is no school on Monday due to it being my birthday…ha, not really. It’s Labor Day. There will be a sub on Tuesday since I am going out of town this weekend. Please make sure your kiddos are well behaved and do what is asked of them.
Have an amazing weekend! See you all next week.
Best,
Ms. K
